Channel Ten and Microsoft have teamed up for an Xbox catch-up TV app.
The app gives Xbox Gold LIVE subscribers access to a library of 25 shows from channels Ten, Eleven and ONE.
The app has a catalogue of shows including Offspring, The Graham Norton Show and Bondi Rescue.
Ten News will also be updated on the app.
Channel Ten Chief Digital Officer, Rebekah Horne, says the Xbox app is the first product release in Ten’s “TV anywhere strategy”.
“We are delighted to be the first Australian commercial free-to-air network to join forces with Xbox to provide its consumers with new entertainment, comedy, reality and news content,” she said.
“Our goal is to deliver a TV experience anywhere that consumers are engaging with video content. Ten’s TV anywhere strategy will be realised over time by a number of product releases across different platforms and devices.”
Foxtel made a similar deal with Xbox in 2010.
The Channel Ten Xbox app will be available from Wednesday.
The network’s existing online catch-up service has recorded more than 20 million video views this year.
