Tennis legend Pat Cash is the latest addition to Channel Ten’s lineup.

The network’s new comedy panel show is based on the UK series A League of Their Own.

Cash will be a team captain on the show against swimmer Eamon Sullivan.

The show’s host, comedian Tommy Little, says he’s excited to join sports stars on-screen.

“Pat Cash has his Wimbledon title, Eamon Sullivan has all his Olympic medials and myself with  fourth place ribbon from the year 9 inter-school sports,” he said.

Ten’s Chief Programming Officer Beverly McGarvey says she hopes Australians will warm to this version of the UK show.

“A League of Their Own is a smash in the UK and we are confident Australian families will embrace our version,” she said.

A League of Their Own will be produced by Freehand Productions and will air later this year.

It will follow the same format as the UK sports trivia panel show of the same name, which is in its seventh season.
