Carols of Hope - Bringing the Community Together

Goulburn NSW -

A variety of top talent artists are lined up for this year’s Community Carols of Hope, taking place on Friday 22 December in Belmore Park for its 26th year.

This free community event is one of Goulburn's biggest, with both local and national acts sharing the stage in Belmore Park. This year yet another group of high quality performers are expected to draw big crowds from Goulburn and surrounds with others coming from as far as Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra.

Feature big name acts at this year’s concert spectacular include the charismatic trio The Koi Boys who rose to fame on The Voice Australia, Island Breeze, a Pacific Island multi-talented cultural dance troupe and Katie de Veau winner of the 2002 Australian Gospel Music Awards.

Once again Carols of Hope favourites Justice Crew return to the stage, bringing their energetic performances with their new look group of four.

Goulburn’s very own local artists including the F5 Choir, Goulburn High School Choir, Johnny Robinson and Nathan Patterson will all perform a number of classic Christmas Carols.

Community Carols of Hope Organiser Mr Peter Mylonas is as excited as ever for this year’s Carols of Hope, “I am proud to be a part of what has become an amazing yearly event” he said.

“This is no one man show and would not be possible without the generosity of everyone in the Goulburn community. It’s a wonderful and uplifting evening to celebrate Christmas with family and friends.

“As always the Carols bring untold joy and the Spirit of Christmas to all” he continued.

Along with the amazing line up of performers there will also be a visit from Santa, the animal farm and horse and carriage rides. A BBQ and drinks will also be on offer with proceeds donated to the staging of the event. A Christmas message and blessings to all in the community will be delivered by Bishop Stuart Robinson.
